About CHC Illinois
Community Health Charities Illinois is part of a national federation of America's premier health organizations that have joined together to promote wellness in the workplace. As the Illinois affiliate, we raise charitable contributions for our 43 member health charities, while also serving as a conduit to healthcare resources and volunteer opportunities. Over 200 employers participate in Community Health Charities of Illinois.
Employees designate the charity or charities where they want their donations to go, knowing that their funds will be used to provide research, education, patient services and outreach in local communities across the state.
In fiscal 2010, we raised $1.8 million through workplace campaigns for our member agencies and other health charities designated by givers.
